This policy explains how INEX collects, uses and protects your personal information, and the choices you have around it.

Last updated: 10th of September 2026

INEX Limited ("INEX," "we," "us," "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information, and sets out your rights under the Privacy Act 2020.

This policy applies to personal information we collect through our website, in the course of supplying products and services, and through our other dealings with customers, suppliers, contractors and other individuals.

‍

What personal information we collect

We may collect personal information including:

  • Name, job title and business name
  • Contact details, such as email address, phone number and postal address
  • Details you provide when submitting an enquiry, quote request or contact form
  • Information relating to your account or order history, if you're a customer
  • Technical information about your visit to our website, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring site (see Cookies and website analytics below)
  • Any other information you choose to provide to us

We collect information directly from you wherever practicable, such as when you contact us, submit a form on our website, or engage us to supply products or services.

‍

Why we collect your information

We collect and use personal information to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and provide quotes
  • Supply products and services and manage our relationship with you
  • Process orders, invoices and payments
  • Communicate with you about our products, services and any changes to them
  • Improve our website, products and services
  • Meet our legal and regulatory obligations

We won't collect personal information unless it's needed for one of these purposes.

‍

How we use and disclose your information

We may disclose your personal information to:

  • Our employees and contractors, where needed to carry out their role
  • Service providers who help us run our business, such as Webflow, our website hosting and content management platform, along with payment processors and courier or freight companies
  • Our professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers
  • Any other party where you've consented, or where we're required or authorised to do so by law

We don't sell your personal information to third parties.

‍

Storage overseas

Some of the service providers we use to run our website and business, including Webflow (our website hosting platform) and Google (Google Search Console), may store or process information outside New Zealand. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information receives a comparable standard of protection to that required under the Privacy Act 2020, consistent with information privacy principle 12.

‍

Cookies and website analytics

Our website is built and hosted on Webflow, which may set cookies needed for the site to function properly, such as maintaining your session or supporting form submissions. We also use Google Search Console to understand how our website performs in Google Search, which relies on aggregated search data rather than tracking individual visitors through cookies.

We don't currently use a cookie consent banner or provide an on-site tool to manage cookie preferences. You can still control or disable cookies at any time through your own browser settings, though some parts of our website may not work as intended if you do.

‍

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, unauthorised access, use, modification or disclosure. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your information safe.

‍

How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only for as long as it's needed for the purposes it was collected, or as required by law, after which we securely delete or de-identify it.

‍

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it if you believe it's wrong. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We'll respond within the timeframes required by law, and we may ask you to verify your identity before releasing information.

‍

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we've handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner:
